Well Payton can say BYE, HI, MOMMA, DADDA, UH OH!, & YEAH

The best part is that he can usually the words correctly.  

Except for when he throws down his bottle on purpose instead of dropping it, sweetly looks up at you and says uh oh (smile).

First Haircut

Payton got his first haircut this past Saturday!  We took him to a local kids hair salon for the royal treatment and a very nice lady by the name of Paula cut his hair.  

He was a perfect angel the whole time, he sat very still and let Paula do her thing... in return he got this very nice photo and a certificate of bravery.  Mommy got a lock of his hair for keeping. 

It was a great day and we are very proud of our sharp looking little man.  No more baby mullet!  

Recent Random Photos

Payton is getting so big, he has 4 official teeth and several that are slowly making their way down.  He is a really good runner, loves to play chase and giggle.  He just recently learned how to twirl and has added the move to his dance routine.  He has also become quite the daredevil, he will stand or climb up on to almost anything...  A big thank you to cousin Jack for the tractor, Payton loves it! 

Happy Belated Halloween

An Autumn Birthday

We had a nice autumn weekend for my birthday, we went to see my parents and then to the orchard to pick pumpkins the next day.  Payton had a lot of fun making fishy faces for my parents and going on a hayride at the orchard.

Birthday Bash

So I know it's been a looong time between posts I have some catching up to do for sure!  Expect to see a lot of new posts and pictures in the up-coming days :)  

Payton's 1st birthday was a lot of fun, he got lots of great presents from his grandparents, aunts and uncle.  We had a lot of fun watching him "open" presents and race around trying to visit with everyone.

I Am One Today

Payton Avery is 1 year old today!  Happy birthday sweetheart :)

A Few Of My Favorite Things

These are a few of my favorite things.... 

my laugh and learn puppy (he sings), my baby leap frog (he sings), my light up curious george (he well he lights up) and my crochet blanket.  

I like to follow my Mom and Dad around the house with these toys so they can make them sing, dance, and light up for me while I play peekaboo with my blankie.

BUT my favorite things in the whole world, are Mom and Dads stuff!!!

I Heart My Little Family

I am in love; completely, totally head over heals in love with my husband and my baby.  Last night we had the most delicious family evening.  A nice dinner all of us gathered around the table eating a wonderful healthy meal, talking (and babbling) about our days.

After dinner my wonderful husband entertained Payton for me while I cleaned up our dinner mess.  I couldn't even begin to describe how happy I was and how full my heart was as I listened to the wild giggles of both Payton and Patrick as they played hide & seek and chase.

Now that Payton is uber mobile it is so hard to get a good picture of him.  He will be doing something so cute, I have the camera, it takes a second for the camera to click, I look at the screen and.... awe man he moved.  Bummer.
